Overview
Qynko supports creators across four service types — 1:1 Sessions, Video Courses, Webinars & Live Events, and Paid Communities. Each has a specific cancellation and refund policy designed to be fair to both creators and students. Please read the relevant section for your use case.
All refunds are processed back to the student's original payment method within 5–7 business days. Qynko adjusts the creator's payout accordingly when a refund is issued.

1:1 Session Bookings
| Scenario | Refund Outcome |
|---|---|
| Creator cancels session (any reason) | Full refund to student — no deduction |
| Student cancels more than 24 hours before session | Full refund to student |
| Student cancels within 24 hours of session | No refund — creator retains the session fee |
| Student no-shows (does not join) | No refund — session fee paid to creator |
| Creator no-shows or session not delivered | Full refund to student automatically |
Repeated creator cancellations (3+ in a 30-day period) may trigger a review of your account to protect student trust.
3
Video Courses
| Scenario | Refund Outcome |
|---|---|
| Refund request within 7 days of purchase & less than 20% of content watched | Full refund — no questions asked |
| Refund request within 7 days of purchase & more than 20% of content watched | No refund — content substantially accessed |
| Refund request after 7 days of purchase | No refund — outside the refund window |
| Course content removed or significantly altered by creator after purchase | Full refund offered to affected students |
| Creator deletes their account (content becomes unavailable) | Pro-rata refund for unused portion offered to enrolled students |
The 20% content-watched threshold is automatically tracked by the Qynko platform. Disputes about watch percentages can be raised within 7 days of the refund decision.

Creator-Initiated Cancellations
- When a creator cancels a booked session or event, Qynko processes a full automatic refund to the student — no action needed from the student.
- The creator's payout for that transaction is reversed.
- Creators who repeatedly cancel sessions (3 or more cancellations within a 30-day rolling period) may have their booking availability temporarily restricted pending review.
- Force-majeure situations (illness, technical outages, natural events) may be reviewed individually — contact support@qynko.com.

Refund Processing & Timelines
| Step | Timeline |
|---|---|
| Refund approved (auto or after review) | Day 0 |
| Qynko initiates refund to payment gateway | Within 1 business day |
| Payment gateway processes to bank / UPI | 3–5 business days |
| Total end-to-end to student | 5–7 business days (standard); up to 10 for some banks |
Refunds are issued to the original payment method (UPI, card, net banking). Qynko does not issue refunds to a different payment method or in cash.

Dispute Resolution
If a student or creator disagrees with a refund decision, a dispute can be raised within 7 days of the refund decision.
- Step 1: Raise a dispute via support@qynko.com with your order ID and reason.
- Step 2: Qynko's support team reviews evidence from both creator and student within 3 business days.
- Step 3: A final decision is communicated to both parties — Qynko's decision is binding.
Qynko acts as an independent mediator. We are not liable for losses arising from disputed transactions beyond the amount of the original transaction.
9
Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refund under any circumstances:
- Monthly or annual Qynko plan subscription fees (your platform subscription, not content purchases).
- Transactions older than 90 days, unless mandated by a regulatory authority.
- Any amount already withdrawn from your Qynko wallet to your bank account.
