You have the right to delete your Qynko account at any time. Here's exactly what happens to your data, students, and earnings.

Overview

You have the right to delete your Qynko creator account at any time. This page explains what happens to your data, your students, your content, and your earnings when you choose to close your account.

We recommend reviewing this policy fully before proceeding. Account deletion is permanent after the 30-day reactivation window. If you just need a break, consider pausing your account instead — all your content and student data stays intact.

How to Request Account Deletion

You can delete your account through either of these methods:

  • From the App: Studio Dashboard → Settings → Account → Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm with your phone OTP before deletion is initiated.
  • Via Email: Send a request to support@qynko.com from your registered email address with the subject 'Account Deletion Request'. Our team will process it within 2 business days.

30-Day Reactivation Window

Once you confirm deletion, your account enters a 30-day cooling-off period. During this time:

  • Your creator studio is immediately unpublished — students cannot access new purchases or enrol.
  • Existing enrolled students retain access to content they have already purchased until the 30-day window closes.
  • Your content, profile, and data are preserved and can be fully restored if you change your mind.
  • No new commissions are charged.
To reactivate within the 30-day window, log in to your account and select 'Reactivate Account', or email support@qynko.com. Reactivation is free, instant, and restores all your data.

What We Retain (Legal Obligations)

Certain data must be retained after account closure to comply with Indian financial, tax, and legal regulations:

Retained data is stored securely, used only for compliance purposes, and is not accessible through any active platform UI.

Impact on Active Students

  • Students who have enrolled in or purchased your courses, webinars, or community access before deletion retain their access until the 30-day window closes.
  • After closure, students lose access to all your content. Qynko will notify affected students via email.
  • Students who lose access due to creator-initiated deletion are eligible for a pro-rata refund for unused content — Qynko handles this process directly.
  • 1:1 sessions booked but not yet completed will be automatically cancelled and fully refunded to students.

Payout Settlement Before Closure

Any outstanding balance in your Qynko wallet at the time of deletion will be settled within 30 days of account closure, provided:

  • No pending disputes or refund claims are outstanding.
  • Your bank account details on file are valid and verified.
  • The balance exceeds the minimum withdrawal threshold.
If your balance is below the minimum threshold, contact support@qynko.com before initiating deletion so we can arrange a manual payout.

Alternative: Pause Your Account

If you need a temporary break — not a permanent goodbye — consider pausing your account. When paused:

  • Your creator studio is hidden from public discovery — no new enrolments.
  • Existing students retain full access to purchased content.
  • All your content, earnings history, and settings are preserved.
  • You can reactivate at any time, instantly.
  • No data is deleted.
To pause, go to Studio Dashboard → Settings → Account → Pause Account, or email support@qynko.com.
